A bus stops outside the house to Aberystwyth centre (5 minutes). For holidaymakers the area offers seaside, mountains, beautiful countryside, with lots to do and places to go.
Aberystwyth is a University town and the main seaside resort in Mid Wales. In addition visitors will find a pier and a fine seafront, which stretches from Constitution Hill at the north end of the Promenade, to the mouth of the harbour at the south. In conclusion, the town boasts two separate beach stretches overlooked by the Castle.

Firstly, Waun Fawr is perched at the top of the hill overlooking the town of Aberystwyth, backing on to the University campus. Secondly, Waunfawr borders the historic parish of Llanbadarn Fawr, a village and parish located on the outskirts of Aberystwyth. In conclusion, the village includes St Padarn’s Church, a fine, partly Romanesque parish church on the site of the (mother church) founded by Padarn (Paternus) in the 6th century.
